RARE COLLECTABLE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC 1954 VOL. 106
Covering the July to December Magazines
This is not a binder with magazines, but an actual book, printed with exactly the same contents as the magazines.
Unlike the magazines, very few of these books are available on the market.
What I find most interesting to read about in these books, are how people saw the world more than 50 years ago, when issues like global warming, overpopulation and major pollution of land, sea and air were unheard of.

All images are of the exact book on offer.
Condition of this issue is good with only very minor marks on the cover and along the spine as per images.
Slight damage to the binding at the first page and at the last page, but all pages are still tightly bound.
The pages are in excellent shape. No missing, bent or torn pages, no dirty marks except for the index page that shows some yellowing.

This issue consists of 864 pages.
There are thousands of pictures in both colour and black and white. An estimate of the ratio between colour and black and white images is about 50/50.
31 Major subjects are featured, including stories about New York Harbor, Telephone, Snakes, Post office, Portugal, Netherlands, Everest, Crusader lands, Bears and Colorado to name a few.
A detailed index in the front of the book makes it easy to find what you're looking for.
Size of the book is 25.5cm x 19cm x 5cm thick and it weighs just over 2 kilograms.
