It has a central hand painted picture of an iris flower. It was made by Thomas L Mott who worked in Vyse Street in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter from the late 19th Century. The brooch is signed on the reverse "TLM Made in England". These Brooches have become highly collectible and this one with the iris design is one of those which is harder to find.
