Rare Collector's doll - vintage 1960's/70's Sasha doll - Blonde Gingham Girl by Frido/Trendon

Sasha dolls were originally created by Sasha Morgenthaler in the 1940's as one-of-a-kind creations. Then In the 1960's they were  produced in vinyl by Gotz, Germany and from 1965 by Frido, England (Frido was taken over by Trendon in the 1970's) Production ceased in 1986 and these dolls have become highly prized by collectors.

  40cm tall, this particular doll is one of the earlier ones with the darker skin tone (the lighter skin tones were made much later).  Known by collectors as the "Blond Gingham Girl" she is in really lovely condition with soft, silky hair and wearing original dress, panties and socks.  I found her without shoes so shoes are not original. Little outfit is also still in good, clean condition but elastic of panties needs to be tightened/replaced. A rare and very collectable doll!   Refer images
