Measuring 22cm in width by 7cm high
Carnival glass is moulded glass to which and iridescent surface has been applied giving it a shimmering effect. Adopted by collectors in the 1950's often handed out as prizes at carnivals and fairgrounds . In the early 1900's carnival glass was massively produced in the USA and reached a height of popularity in the 1920's. At this point in time more that 50 colour ways have been identified . Carnival Glass is highly collectable worldwide with its bright cheerful sheen catching on in modern day home decor.
