Up for auction is a A.R.L.(Admiralty Research Laboratory) Mk VII plotting table clock in its metal storage bin. These clocks are part of a plotting table on naval ships and submarines to determine the vessel's position by dead reckoning. The plotting table could also be connected to the weapons system for calculating the direction of fire. The Mk VII was in use during WWII. This clock is unfortunately over wound and most of the accessories are missing. Otherwise the condition is very good and well looked after.
