A rare find, this antique Dutch solid silver wax seal, with steel intaglio base. The wax seal depicts the form of a male with military uniform and sword. The carved intaglio is of the silhouette portrait of possibly the same figure. See photos for details. The piece has Dutch silver hallmarks with date letter for 1841!
