Game Rules:
LES AUTOS Can be played with 2, 3, or 4 players.
The set of cards is divided into twelve series of 4 cards each.
On each card, there is:
- A number and a title common to the 4 cards (e.g., 4. GRANDES ROUTIÈRES FRANÇAISES).
- The make of the vehicle on the card.
- The series to which the vehicle belongs, written in red.
How to Play:
- Shuffle and deal 16 cards for 4 players, 12 cards for 3 players, and 24 cards for 2 players. Leave the rest of the cards as a draw pile, face down.
- The objective of the game is to collect the most series of 4 cards.
- Suppose a player holds two cards from the series 4. GRANDES ROUTIÈRES FRANÇAISES (e.g., the PEUGEOT 404 and the RENAULT 16). They can then ask another player for a card they are missing from that series (e.g., the CITROËN DS 21).
- If the player being asked holds the requested card, they must hand it over. The asker can continue their turn and ask for another card from the same series or a different one.
- If the player does not have the requested card, they must say, bonne pioche (good draw). The asker then draws the top card from the draw pile, and their turn ends.
- A completed series of 4 cards is placed face up in front of the player. The player with the most complete series at the end wins.
Special Note for 2 Players:
Only 12 cards are dealt to each player, with the remaining cards forming the draw pile. Players follow the same rules for asking and drawing cards.
