A rare find, this German World War II (circa 1941) ring, also known as an Afrika Korps ring, was worn by German soldiers stationed in North Africa during this period. These rings were made by local artisans in various materials, in this case a silvered bronze.
The design features engraved detail and gilt detail of buildings and camels, as well as maker's mark of three stars on the inside, similar to other examples seen. See photos for details, ideal for a militaria collector!
Dimensions: the ring size is 20 mm (size U) and top design measures 1,55 cm in width. (Code: 23BV159)
