Retention clasp is intact, Silk Ribbon present with some degree of edge wear. Base Metal Escutcheon retains Silverplated surface finish , toning noticeable.

An EXCELLENT example of a Franco-Prussian War, 1874  Silverplated ' Braunschweig Landwehr Verband' Veteran's Association Pin. This piece appears to be in a VF + state , with detailed Relief on  Escutcheon obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Silverplated surface finish appears largely intact with a degree of toning. Silk Ribbon appears complete with edge wear. Retention clasp at rear is complete and functional.
