A rare find, this 18th Century Italian candle snuff scissors has a functional design and in good condition, a very old repair is noted where the handles join the pivot. See photos for details - imagine the stories this piece holds of ages gone past!
A silver guarantee mark is present on both sides of the snips, depicting the two crossed keys of St. Peter under a liturgical umbrella, used in Italy between 1738 - 1809.
