Rare Large hand blown Murano bowl MidCentury Modern attributed to Barovier

Offered for sale is a fine and large Murano hand made glass bowl with an organic rectangular form with dramatic pulled sides creating an elegant undulating profile. The bowl is clear glass with a slightly irridescent finish with cased bubbles which graduate in size with the smaller bubbles concentrated in the middle of the bowl radiating outwards in size as the bowl was shaped and manipulated by the glassmaker. Clearly this is the work of an expert glassmaker from Murano Italy. The style suggests the work or influence of  Barovier particularly the " Bolle" style pieces . The style and quality are exceptionaly and suggest a date around the middle of the 20th Century circa 1950 or possibly late 1940's. The size of the Murano bowl is as follows : length 33cm ; width 26cm ; height 8cm.
