Rare 'Leica IIIg' 1950's Camera with Lens & Case (Nr.881089)
This classic, 'Leica screw-mount camera' with a collapsible 'Leica Summicron f = 5cm 1:2' lens with cap, appears to be in great condition for its age. I believe this camera to be the classic 'Leica IIIg' which was only produced for a short period of three years, from 1957 to 1960, and was the last 'Leica screw-mount' camera made. This is one of the earlier models from 1957, with a serial number of '881089', and it comes with its original 'Leica' leather case and strap. Please refer to the photographs below to confirm my description, as I'm not an authority on cameras. This camera appears to still have an original film inside, which I haven't tried to remove. It looks to be in great condition, everything seems to work fine, the lens appears to be nice and clear and the vulcanite is in excellent condition.
Please feel free to email me with any queries. Please look closely at the pictures provided as they are of the actual item and form a vital part of the description.
