Rare 'Leica IIIg' 1950's Camera with Lens and Case
This classic 'Leica screw mount camera' with the collapsible 'Leica 50mm f/2 Summitar lens' with cap, appears to be in great condition for its age. I believe this camera to be the classic 'Leica IIIg' which was only produced for a short period of three years, from 1957 to 1960,and was the last 'Leica screw mount camera' made. This camera is one of the earlier models, from 1957 with a serial number of '878118'. It comes with its original 'Leica' leather case with strap, and the original 'Leica IIIg Instruction Book' Please refer to the photographs below to confirm my description as I'm not an authority on camera's. Other than two small pieces of the vulcanite (black covering) missing from the front (which I've read can be replaced), the camera appears to be in great condition, everything seems to work fine and the lens appears to be nice and clear.
Please feel free to email me with any queries. Please look closely at the pictures provided as they are of the actual item and form a vital part of the description.
