Rare Marples Shamrock Carving Chisels (Set of 7) - Vintage

This is a set of 7 vintage rare Marples Shamrock carving chisels. While they are overall in good condition, 2 of the handles do have slight damage at ends and one of them has lost its Shamrock logo. Also there is a bit of oxidation and very slight pitting on the 2 bigger ones. Please see photos as part of the description.

It is not often that a set of more than 2 or 3 are on offer -

5 of the chisels are straight gouges (sizes stamped 9, 8, 5, 6, 7)

1 is a curved gouge (size stamped 14)

1 is a V tool (size stamped 11)

In an attempt to date the chisels by looking through old catalogues it appears that these chisels were what Marples called "Handled Sash or Scribing Gouges" and the manufacturing date is likely between the years 1909 to 1940.
