Ready to ship in
The seller has indicated that they will usually have this item
ready to ship within 3 business days. Shipping time depends on your delivery address. The most
accurate delivery time will be calculated at checkout, but in
general, the following shipping times apply:
1.Plant the heirloom tomato seeds in seedling trays. Plant them one fourth inch deep in a sterile soil mix six weeks before the last frost in your area. Place the seedling trays on a heat mat designed for plants.
2.Water the seeds daily to keep the soil moist. Once the tomato seeds germinate, remove them from the heating pad and place them approximately 2 inches under fluorescent lights.
3.Select a well-drained and sunny location in your garden. Combine an equal amount of compost and soil, and place it 2 inches on top of the soil with a rake. Plant the heirloom seedlings outdoors once the soil temperature reaches above 50 degrees F.
4.Plant the seedlings 15 inches apart. Keep the seedlings in rows 3 feet apart from each other.
5.Water the tomato plants to keep the soil moist. Insert a half inch dowel 3 inches from each plant to support the tomatoes when they grow tall enough. 6.Once the tomato plant appears heavy, tie it to the dowel rod with a strong twine.
Add black plastic mulch around the base of the tomatoes. This will help to retain moisture and to keep diseased spores away from the plants.
