ORIGINAL VINTAGE GABRIEL PADDINGTON  TEDDY BEAR

When Gabrielle Designs first started making their Paddington Bears in 1972

It was a very small business run by Shirley and Eddie Clarkson out of their

home in Burghwallis near Doncaster in Yorkshire, England.

Eventually, a few years after Shirley Clarkson retired, the business closed down

 It hasn’t been possible to buy new Gabrielle Designs bears since the late 1990’s.

This makes these handmade bears very collectable.

Brown coat and yellow hats are very few and far between
