Absolutely superb Gregoire Boonzaier linocut. The Boonzaier linocuts where the artist tipped in with watercolour like he did in this case are RARE. The work is signed by Gregoire and dated 1976 and there is also a dedication in the hand of the artist that reads: "To Dear Noel with Xmas & New year greetings from Marie, Gregoire and Emile". There is also a letter in the hand of Gregoire in pencil in his hand to the recipients of the art work. It was clearly a close friendship and he certainly put in extra effort to make the linocut a special one.
The work is newly framed and it looks really great, ready for your wall.
