THIS RUCKSACK BELONGED TO A SOLDIER WHO SERVED IN THE B.S.A.P., RHODESIAN LIGHT INFANTRY SUPPORT COMMANDO, SGT. IN S.A. 32 BATTALION AND KILLED IN ACTION IN A UNITA AMBUSH IN 1993 WHILE SERVING IN "EXECUTIVE OUTCOMES". THEY WERE USED IN THE LATER DAYS OF RHODESIA BY THE SAS AND OTHER SPECIAL UNITS AND USED INITIALLY BY THE S.A. 32 BATTALION AND LATER COPIED IN THE "NUTRIA" COLOUR FOR THE UNIT WITH A FEW MODIFICATIONS IE. ZIPS ON THE SIDE POCKETS REPLACED WITH VELCRO (PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTION). THE ONE SIDE POCKET ZIP SLIDE HAS COME UNDONE AND THERE HAS BEEN REPAIR WORK DONE ON THE SHOULDER STRAP OTHERWISE IN A GOOD USED CONDITION.

THESE ITEMS WERE KEPT BY HIS WIDOW FOR HIS SON BUT HE DOESN'T WANT THEM AND A COPY OF A LETTER FROM HER WILL BE SUPPLIED TO THE WINNING BIDDER CONFIRMING THAT THESE ITEMS WERE HIS.
