Rare Royal Air Force (RAF) Squadron 10 handpainted plaque queen's crown

This is an original handpainted RAF Squadron 10 wall plaque. It has not been cleaned. It shows the post-1953 queen's crown. 

Squadron 10 was formed as a training squadron in 1915. It performed reconnaissance tasks during WW1. Disbanded in 1919 and reformed in 1928. 

Motto:  Rem acu tangere (to hit the mark).

Battle honours include the following:

Western Front, l915-1918: Loos: Somme, 1916: Arras: Somme, 1918 Invasion Ports, 1940: Channel & North Sea, 1940-1945: Norway, 1940: Fortress Europe, 1940-1944: Biscay Ports, 1940-1945: Ruhr, 1940-1945: German Ports, 1940-1945: Normandy, 1944: Berlin, 1940-1945: France & Germany, 1944-1945: Rhine
