Rare Royal Doulton 'Under the Greenwood Tree' Dish (D6094) 

This lovely, 1930/40's, rare shaped, Royal Doulton dish from the 'Under the Greenwood Tree' series, features a colourful scene of Robin Hood and Friar Tuck under a tree and bordered with a dark green trim. The dish has an attractive, scarce, rectangular shape with scalloped sides and raised detail with twirls, and measures 23,5cm x 17,5cm with a height of 3,5cm. The dish is in excellent condition and carries the Royal Doulton backstamp along with the special 'Under the Greenwood Tree' mark and impressed shape number '8235' on the back.
