Here we have a used condition Pattern 70/73 Officers binoculars carry pouch (rare piece not often seen).
Includes carry strap and designed to be worn on the chest or on the belt as part of the well known patt 70/73 webbing as used during the bushwar early days!
Unfortunately this pieces has some rust stains and had some snaps rusted-up - I have replaced any damaged snaps with correct period snaps and all are now functional. The rust stains may wash out, but I have not done or tried this yet.
The metal springs on the 2 clips for the shoulder strap are also rusted and I was not able to replace these.
Please note that the 32 Battalion summer pattern nylon camo used as a background is not included in this auction.
