Rare signed lithograph by German Art Nouveau artist Franz Heinz circa 1890-1910

Offered for sale is a rare and highly collectible lithograph by 19th Century German artist Franz Heinz. This item is a lithographic print on paper signed in pencil. The subject is a sensual female nude with with downcast eyes and very long Rapunzel like tresses artfully arranged to protect her modesty. Franz Heinz is famous for his designs illustrating characters from Richard Wagners operas ; his work is typical of the Symbolist Movement from the late 19th century with artists producing erotic and sensual female images inspired by classical mythology, the bible and famous figures from popular literature, novels and poetry.  This is a small format picture framed in an elegant pale teal coloured wood frmae with gilt edging.
