This vintage Telefunken Bajazzo TS is a rare find for any collector or enthusiast. Made in Germany, this black radio has both battery and adapter (not included) power options for convenience. With its FM capabilities and shortwave radio communication, this radio is perfect for any audiophile looking to add a unique piece to their collection.
THE MODEL IS NAMED AFTER THE INFAMOUS GERMAN CLOWN CHARACTER BAJAZZO, KNOWN FOR HIS ENTERTAINING NATURE AND PLAYFUL SPIRIT. DON'T MISS OUT ON THE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THIS PIECE OF RADIO HISTORY.
TESTED THE RADIO AND IT IS STILL WORKING. IT PLAYS VERY LOUDLY AND IS PROPABLY THE BEST SOUNDING VINTAGE RADIO I HAVE HAD. The sound from the high quality loudspeaker is very good, warm and room filling, its a real pleasure to listen this BAJAZZO. (I CAN SEND A VIDEO OF THE BEAUTIFUL SOUND FOR BUYER AFTERWARDS IF NEEDED). ON EBAY BAJAZZO RADIOS IN WORKING CONDITION SELLS FOR BETWEEN R2000 AND R4000.
CONDITION: TESTED IT AND IT POWERS UP AND PLAYS MUSIC VERY LOUDLY AND BEAUTIFULLY. THE AERIAL IS IN TACT BUT SITS LOOSE. TWO KNOBS (FOR FM AND AM TUNING) ARE MISSING BUT DIALS STILL WORKING FINE. NO POWER CORD. IT USES 6 D SIZE BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED.

Gesellschaft für drahtlose Telegraphie System Telefunken, better known as Telefunken, is a German radio and television company, founded in 1903, in Berlin, as a joint venture of two large companies, Siemens & Halske (S&H) and the Allgemeine Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG) (the General Electricity Company) following the advice of Emperor Wilhelm II.
Telefunken engineers laid the foundations for radio in Germany during the 1920s and in the 1930s was substantially involved in the development of the electronic television. In 1941 Siemens transferred its Telefunken shares to AEG who thus became sole owners with Telefunken. AEG was bought by Daimler in 1985 and Telefunken was dropped from the company name and had effectively ceased to exist as an independant company by 1997. However the brand name "Telefunken" is still marketed by Daimler in Europe.
