Authentic Vintage Chinese Glass/Silver plated Teapot with a Painting on the Inside!

Sourced directly from rural China and Tibet, these beautiful collectable Chinese handcrafted pieces are just the thing to enhance that Oriental theme and make a stunning display when grouped together! Some are vintage, some are antique and each one is hand crafted!

This is a vintage ornamental miniature teapot. Although it has a cavity it is not designed to actually hold liquid. The main body is made of glass, with a non metallic, silver plated metal used for the rest. It has actualy been painted on the inside of the glass! How the painter managed to paint such detail through such a small opening is amazing!

There is a mouse on the lid, with dragons all around. Condition is good with no chips, cracks or missing pieces. It has a height of about 14cm. The paint is quite worn in places, but it is still a very rare vintage piece for any collector of Chinese art and culture. It has not been cleaned.
