Rare vintage Falcon Pope No. F6 woodwork plane

Rare vintage Falcon Pope No. F6 woodwork plane. I would date this large Australian smoothing plane to the early 1950s. Due to the Australian housing boom after WW2, Australia started making their own planes due to demand. The plane is larger and heavier than its Stanley equivalent, and has a good quality black casting. Eventually Stanley bought out Falcon Pope in the late 1950s - thus the available planes are quite rare. The plane measures 45cm long, and is in very good working condition. Great buy for the carpenter.
