Rare vintage folding ''Brownie'' SIX-20 camera (First model) - Roll Film - Made by Kodak Ltd in Great Britain
The Folding Brownie SIX-20 camera, made by Kodak Ltd in Great Britain, is a classic piece of photographic history. This camera was produced in two main models:
First Model (1937-1940): Known as the Folding Brownie Six-20, it featured a fixed-focus Meniscus lens in a Kodette II shutter. A Brilliant finder was an optional extra from 1938.
Second Model (1948-1954): Labeled as the Six-20 Folding Brownie, this model had a focusing 100mm f6.3 Anaston lens in a Dakon shutter with an ASA flash contact. It also included a swinging cover over the red window on the back.
These cameras were designed for making 2¼×3¼ inch exposures on No. 620 rollfilm.
