A vintage HIFRA 4401 aeromatic fill fountain pen. HIFRA was a branded name applied to imported Japanese Platinum Pens. Some kept the original Platinum Logo, usually on the cap jewel, but the 4401 was manufactured without the logo and had only HIFRA 4401 engraved on the barrel. Hifra pens were very popular school pens in the 50's and 60's, and were known as "South African" pens. This one was modeled on the Parker 21 and 51. Definitely worthy of a place in a collection! Untested, usage marks and some wear to the cap.
