Lur: The Bronze Age of the Teutonic tribes yielded the mysterious lur. Little is known of the purpose of this instrument excavated in pairs from the moors of Sweden, Denmark, North Germany, and Ireland. They were cast in brass and demonstrate remarkable craftsmanship.
