 Rare vintage west German BMF beer tankard with working bell mechanism

Made from cut glass and pewter. Top part of bell mechanism appears to be made from tin. The bell works and sounds when the latch is pressed. 

The glass is in mint condition - no chips or cracks. Pewter does have age related marks and the tin does have a few light rust spots 

The Tankard is marked BMF and made in West Germany.
