A rare WW1 MK 1 Brodie helmet.  Has the split pin bales for the chin strap and overlapping brim rim, signifying it as British made, circa 1916-1918.  Looks to be original paint with surface rust.  Please note the absence of the chin strap and inner.

Diameter : approx. 30cm
