Offered for sale are a rare pair of hand carved wooden sabots/clogs made from treen and probably intended for use as nuff boxes. They are intricately hand carved with the peaked toes of the clogs festooned with flowers and a hinged lid attached with a small screw which closes the top aperture. The clogs are inscribed/date-marked 1914-1919 . These items are probably made by a French prisoner of war or soldier. They are in very good condition for their 100 plus years. Postage is R100 via Postnet or R140 for courier delivery . Alternatively collection is welcome from Emmerantia Jhb.
