The Dunkirk Veteran's Association- represented a collective of British Armed Service personnel who had been involved in Operation Dynamo in May 1940. This event saw the evacuation of more than 330 000 Allied Soldiers , Sailors & Airmen - during the German invasion of France and the Low Countries. This piece would have been worn on the right breast-pocket of Association members.
