An EXCELLENT example of Second World War, 1940s British Army - Dunkirk Veteran's Association Embroidered Bullion Blazer Badge. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Minimal Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Piece is unmounted.

The Dunkirk Veteran's Association- represented a collective of British Armed Service personnel who had been involved in Operation Dynamo in May 1940. This event saw the evacuation of more than 330 000 Allied Soldiers , Sailors & Airmen - during the German invasion of France and the Low Countries. This piece would have been worn on the right breast-pocket of Association members.
