An EXCELLENT example of World War 2 , 1940  H.M.S  Hood Mother of Pearl Sweetheart Brooch w/out Pin. This piece appears to be in a VF/F state , with detailed Relief on  obverse. All insignia present. Evidence of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Mother of Pearl Disk is complete - pin has expired and is no longer present.

The H.M.S Hood was a Battleship ( Dreadnaught Class) of the Royal Navy and is most notably recognized for having been sunk in battle; by the Bismarck of the German Kriegsmarine.
