RARE WW2 SAAF-SALM Cap Badge: Bronzed/Darkened Service Dress Variant

This historical piece is 100% metal, completely authentic, and features the crisp King's Tudor Crown alongside the bilingual "SAAF - SALM" banner. It will make an outstanding  addition to any South African military or aviation collection.

Material: Authentic Die-stamped metal with an original factory chemical bronzing treatment.

Design: Features the distinct bilingual scroll reading "SAAF - SALM", an eagle with outspread wings, a surrounding laurel wreath, and the wartime King's Crown.

Colour & Finish: Retains its original deep reddish-brown/chocolate finish with crisp structural detailing across the feathers and wreath leaves. 

Details: Finished with a matte, non-reflective chocolate brown coating ( possibly designed to minimise glare for field service and camouflage during combat operations).

Reverse Hardware: Excellent collector condition. Crucially, both original lugs on the reverse are 100% complete and completely unbroken.
