How often does the Orange River region of the Northen Cape province in South Africa produce something totally different? Well, not that often, but when it does it is normally spectacular like theis piece. A combination of smoky quartz, citrine and amethyst makes this a rare and unique marvel. Some pieces exibiting cactus quartz structures and was mined near the Orange river between the towns of Goodhouse and Witbank in 2024.
