Our Kits come with the latest version of NOOBS — New Out Of the Box Software pre-installed, While we will certainly try our best to assist with any software related questions we cannot offer any kind of official support on community driven, open source, or non-PiShop produced proprietary software.

So what is NOOBS anyway?In Short, NOOBS is an installer, when you switch your RPI on NOOBS will guide you through the installation of your software of choice... seem confusing? Don't worry it really couldn't be easier.

• Raspbian - a full desktop for normal day to day work. Email, internet, office suite, programming etc.
• LibreELEC RPi2 - our preferred version of Kodi for use as a media centre.
• OSMC Pi2 - for more control of your Kodi media centre
• Windows 10 IoT Core - nope this is not windows 10. It simply enables you to run projects and apps for the IOT environment.
• Lakka and Recalbox - retro gaming for the RPi.
