Ratchet and Clank “Size Matters” is another edition of the Ratchet and Clank series. “Size Matters” has been developed by High Impact Games unlike its predecessors which were the brainchild of Insomniac Games. Ratchet and Clank Size Matters maintains its exclusivity with Sony consoles, in fact this video game has been developed specifically for PSP. The game play and the story line are so impressive that even if you were not a fan of the previous Ratchet and Clank games, but if you are into platform games, then spending five minutes of playing “Size Matters” is bound to make you sing its tunes.
As far as gaming experience goes, this game has it all, it rates high in all the departments.
Presentation is excellent there is humour coupled with action and drama. The best part is that the developers made sure that they get rid of all the loading glitches, thus the loading time for this game is very good. The soundtrack for the game is might not be described as marvellous but it still can be ranked a good, though the voiceovers are extremely good and they make up for the low rating for the soundtrack. The storyline is extremely exciting as there are quite a few characters in the game which provide the twist and turns in the storyline and this is what makes the player glued to this game.
In the Graphics department this game tops the series of all Ratchet and Clank games so far. This video game has loads of “very special effects” not just “special effects”. The developers went all out in the department of paying attention to detail.
Game play of this game is actually a new experience as this video game was particularly developed for PSP, that is why it gives the player a chance to experience all the thrills associated with the PSP. The secondary analog stick quandary experienced by players in the previous Ratchet and Clank games has been removed thus providing a full gaming experience to the players.
