RATHER SPECIAL AMETHYST & TANZANITE RING IN YELLOW GOLD.

This ring has the most gorgeous display of berry colours! The main stones are amethysts (0,36 carats) that have been faceted in the pear-shape. There are also 0,14 carats of round faceted tanzanites. I fell in love with the ring as it was such a lovely combination of colours, all set in yellow gold (hallmarked 375 and 9K for 9 carat gold). The ring is a vintage piece that was made in Birmingham, England (hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office). Other hallmarks include the jewellers mark (QVC) and the date mark that indicates 2003.
Its a very pretty piece of jewellery!
