Hardcover tenth impression September 1956, published by Collins. The jacket is taped closed in a plastic sleeve, and is edge-worn and rubbed, with a v-shaped piece missing from the head of the spine. The boards are square and solid, but on both the front and rear, there is a long sticky tape residue mark. The name of a previous owner is written in pen on the first end-paper, and there are minor tape marks here, and on the last end-paper and inside board. The top external edges of the pages are shelf-dusted.
