UNUSUAL CONTEMPORARY DESIGN BALTIC AMBER AND STERLING SILVER DROP AND DANGLE EARRINGS. 925. 

The jeweller has created a very interesting design in making these earrings. A stud holds the drop, a silver bar divided into 3 organic rectangular shapes that hangs vertically from the ear - the top two solid, and the last one is hollow, providing the link for the dangle of the earring. Die-cut silver squares hold 7mm cubes of glowing Baltic amber, which hang on the diagonal. Holding firmly onto the gemstone - a larger 'frame' at the back, and a smaller, more decorative 'frame' at the front, just covering the top point of the chunky Polish gemstone, the dangle has nice movement. The amber has a yellow gold hue with interesting inclusions. The earrings are 20mm long x 8mm wide. The sterling silver hallmark '925' appears, and the earrings come with a little certificate of origin and authenticity for the Baltic amber from Poland.
