Chrisanna is a collectible newborn baby girl which I have painted with

no less than 10 translucent layers of paint which is then baked to

achieve an amazingly realistic skin tone. During the process I add all

the blotches, veins, capillaries and blushing that are synonymous with

newborn babies.

I have painted her nails to look real, and then double sealed them with

a slightly glossy varnish. I've also painted her lips with multiple

layers of soft colour to achieve the realism of a slightly open mouth

and likewise sealed them with a slight gloss.

I've micro-rooted Chrisanna's hair with premium quality mohair in

chestnut brown and rooted her eyelashes with the same mohair.

This is a time consuming endeavour but well worth the effort

for the realistic results.

I've used poly-pellets distributed evenly to achieve a realistic weight

and stuffed her with premium quality poly-fill so that she is cuddly

and soft. You even have to support her neck!

Chrisanna goes to her new home with the following:

- white long-sleeved onesie vest

- beautiful floral christening dress

- hand-made daisy beanie with matching cardigan

- hand-made christening blankie

- certificate, 'adoption sheet' and care instructions

I am dedicated to and love the artform of reborning and as such my

dolls take time to make and are a work of art.

times, from different angles to showcase this gorgeous little sweetpea.
