SKIN TONE
Kayla's baby skin, slight mottling and subtle veining was achieved through the application of several translucent layers of Genesis heat set paints aimed at creating the most realistic skin tone possible and paying meticulous attention to finer detailing.
BABY'S BODY
Kayla has a well proportioned, soft and realistic vinyl head and limbs. Her head, limbs and body has been weighted and filled with micro-fine glass beads (contained in small bags within her head and body), and polyester fibre to give her a very realistic baby feel.
BABY'S HAIR
Kayla has pale blonde baby-soft hair, which has been micro-rooted with high quality premium angora mohair, and sealed inside the head to allow gentle misting and styling.
DETAILING
Kayla' has no EYELASHES to enhance the appearance as a premie baby.
Her NOSE has been opened and backed with dark felt for the appearance of depth.Her LIPS have been painted in several shades for a more natural appearance and permanently sealed with a satin finish.
FINGER- AND TOE-NAILS have been shaded, tipped and sealed with several layers of permanent satin varnish.
A slight glossy appearance has been added to the corners of the eyes, inside the nostrils and around the mouth for added realism.

The inside of baby's head and the pacifier has been fitted with strong magnets. These are very strong magnets, so please use caution around people with pacemakers, computers, and other electronic equipment. A reborn baby is not suitable as a child's toy, but is a collectors item and family heirloom. Handle your reborn baby as you would a real baby to be cherished for generations to come.
