SADF SPECIAL FORCES RECONNAISSANCE 1968 - 1991

Depicting a selection of different flashes and Badges of the SADF Special Forces Reconnaissance Units 1968 - 1991 as well as some drawing of Badges from 1979 that were never adopted. The reason for this is that there are so many counterfeit pieces on the market just as there are bogus Special Forces operators claiming to have served with this Elite Commandos and Regiments.
The flashes and badges were researched and selected carefully and this poster will make a interesting conversation piece. There are a few elements that are still confusing and invitations to respond to it's accuracy will be appreciated.
Commemorative Badges such as the 5 Recce FREDA (Fifth Recce Defense Association) have not been included due to a lack of space and since there are so many others and accuracy thereof, cannot be confirmed.
The Special Forces also operated in small groups of which the information is unobtainable regarding the selected insignia designs and any authentic information regarding where it can be obtained will be greatly appreciated.
It does however has the making of another poster - even showing all the Counterfeit pieces on the market.
SIZE: 41.5 cm X 29,6 cm on thick 200 gsm matt white stock paper with a white border all round.
Military abbreviation of REGT is used for Regiments.
The Reconnaissaince Special Forces abbreviated to "Recces" was an envious household nickname referring to these crack units that partook in South African Bush War campaigns.
