Red Gold Czech Bohemian Vase with Geometrical Diamond (Design 1967 by Jan Gabrhel) Mould-Blown

A BEAUTIFUL GEOMETRICAL MOULD-BLOWN GARNET RED VASE WITH DIAMOND DESIGN.
 
THE VASE WAS PRODUCED BY THE FAMOUS CHLUM U TREBONE GLASSWORKS, CZECHOSLOVAKIA, BEFORE 1989. THE 1960S DESIGN IS BY JAN GABRHEL (B1930). GABREL STUDIED AT THE ZELEZNY BROD GLASS SCHOOL FROM 1946-50. JAN GABRHEL'S DESIGNS HAS BEEN EXHIBITED ALL OVER THE WORLD, FOR EXAMPLE THE WORLD EXPOSITIONS IN MONTREAL IN 1967 AND OSAKA IN 1970.

CONDITION: IN GOOD CONDITION. STICKER BOHEMIAN GLASS CZECHOSLOVAKIA

CHLUM U TREBONE GLASSWORKS:
The origins of Glassworks Chlum u Třeboně trace back to 1837 when it was established by Jan Nemastil. From its inception, the glassworks focused on producing utility glass items, such as bottles and glassware, catering to both domestic and international markets. The regions abundant natural resources, including sand and wood, provided essential raw materials, fostering the growth of the glass industry.
