Vintage industrial wall hanging with slipper base markings and TS-3 detail. One-of-a-kind decor made from a reclaimed engineering pattern mould.
A richly detailed and structurally layered engineering pattern mould, this piece carries the unmistakable marks of real industrial use.
Built around a raised central frame-like structure, the composition draws the eye inward, creating depth, shadow, and a strong architectural presence. The original factory red paint is beautifully worn, revealing raw wood beneath and highlighting decades of handling and use.
Faint workshop markings across the surface include "Slipper Bases 2024-2" and "B16-2-2," while the piece is more boldly marked with "TS-3" and "1-B." Etched into the darker plate below, partially legible text appears to reference "Simco Slipper Base 2024/2," reinforcing its origin in precision engineering.
A small section of the protruding structure is broken away, adding to the authenticity of the pieceevidence of its working life rather than a defect. This imperfection enhances its character and makes it even more distinct.
This is not a polished decorative object - it's a true industrial relic, transformed into wall art.
This piece forms part of a pair (R1 & R2), each with subtle differences in wear, markings, and structure, sold individually. Pairing them creates a layered, collected look that feels both cohesive and unique.
