A more minimal and architectural interpretation of the SIMCO Slipper Base TS-5, this original engineering pattern mould offers a quieter, more structured presence while retaining its industrial authenticity.
The composition is defined by four raised, block-like forms arranged in a balanced layout, with recessed slots carved into the central sections. These subtle details create depth and rhythm without overwhelming the eye - making this piece ideal for spaces that favour clean lines with character.
Hand-painted markings "TS-5" and "1-B" anchor the piece visually, while the smaller workshop notation "B64-2-1" adds to its provenance. Faintly etched into the surface are remnants of its original designation, including "Simco Slipper Base 20" and "TS 5," softly worn by time but still present enough to tell the story.
The red-painted surface carries natural wear, scratches, and tonal variation (evidence of decades of use) while the overall structure remains solid and grounded.
