A bold, sculptural industrial artefact, this original SIMCO engineering pattern mould is defined by its striking twin-form design and strong sense of symmetry.
Two raised, mirrored structures dominate the composition - each featuring layered geometric elements, vertical supports, and cylindrical forms. The result is a piece that feels almost architectural, with real depth and shadow play that shifts depending on the angle you view it from.
Etched into the raised elements is "TS 6," along with stamped "S" markings - subtle but significant indicators of its original engineering function. Additional workshop notation, including "B63-2-2," and the bold hand-painted "2-A," ground the piece in its working history.
The rich red surface carries authentic wear, with exposed wood along edges and corners where time and use have softened the paint. This natural patina enhances the dimensional forms, highlighting edges and contours.
Unlike flatter pieces, this mould reads almost as wall-mounted sculpture, making it ideal for spaces that need both texture and presence.
