Known variously as ‘Peter Pepper’, ‘Chilli Willy’ and ‘Penis Pepper”, it is so named for its similarity in appearance to the anatomical part of a male... This definitely is a chilli pepper that gets people talking. This plant will add a hilarious talking point to your patio or garden. Plants grow to about 60cm in height. The chilli pepper flesh is similar to Jalapeno chilli peppers (but hotter) and will help to spice up summer salads. Try slipping a Peter Pepper into your Gran’s salad! The pods are 10cm to 15cm long, blunt-ended, and mature to a deep red. It is excellent for chili powder and is hotter than the Jalapeno or Tobasco chilli at 5 000 - 30,000 scoville units.
