This authentic Mississippi paddlewheel steamboat reminds us of Mark Twains most famous characters Tom Sayer and Hucklberry Finn. They helped to shrink the vastness of America and as showboats they made that vastness a little less lonely. This ever popular plank-on-frame kit is now easier to build. Molded wooden pieces help you shape the bow and stern sections, and pre-cut ribs and hardwood parts are included for hull, deck and superstructure construction. Fittings include brass chimney heads and decorations, brass ship's bell, steering wheel, handrails and chain. Windows, doors and paddlewheels are cast metal. Galvanized wire, brass cables and cotton rigging are all provided along with brass pin nails. Includes fully illustrated instruction book.
