You have entrance into the Malaria Free Big 5 Pilanesberg Reserve from the entrance in the resort, in your own motor vehicle, or on a booked game drive at the game drive booking office.
A very short walk from inside the resort, all Residents have access to the "hide", where you can view live game animals and abundant bird life at the watering hole. This is perfect for bird watchers as well.
This Luxury Chalet Unit is airconditioned Fully Self Catering, fully serviced to sleep 4 persons. Modern kitchen with undercounter oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. One private bedroom upstairs, with own balcony with a stunning view into the game park. Bathroom on the landing, with a bathroom, shower, handbasin & toilet .Two comfortable sleeper couches in the living room area, ideal for children or young adults. Each unit has a undercover patio area with a 'skottelbraai' and a regular braai area as well.. This Chalet looks into the game park with an electric fence a few metres away from the unit. You can sit on your patio and eat breakfast or enjoy a BBQ (braai), while you leisurely watch the game animals a few metres away from you ! There is normally daily visits of buck, zebra, wildebees and elephant! A truly wonderful experiance !
There are various DSTV channels on the television. There is also a 24 hour channel on the TV showing a day and night camera on the water hole.
This Gold Crown resort has a top class Restaurant and a pub area, inside and area the pool area. There are many relaxing areas around the swimming pools on reclining loungers, play areas for young children, outdoor chess sets, tennis courts, Curio shop, etc ...
There are organised day and night game drives, nature walks, etc with a team of experianced Game Rangers, which you can book at a reasonable price.
